Basilisk
Lifespan: ~200
Found by following their trail of burned foliage and poisoned  ground, these monsters use their stare to turn targets into slaves.
Basilisk are smaller than humans, with their human parts typically European ethnicty. Their snake parts are typically vibrant or toxic in color, and no one either knows or will discribe what their eyes look like. Unlike a Lamia, Basilisks stand and do not slither.
They have a large humanoid penis, reproducing through oviparity, and hiding their eggs in non-serpent nests.
Known to be arrogant and toxic, these boys love praise and destruction.
They are known as "little kings" of serpent kind, able to frighten other reptiles and serpents away with a whistling sound. They detest weasels and their kin, as they are one of the few things that can kill them.
